Zachary Green

Zach is pursuing an MPA at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and an MPS at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Zach is most interested in the nexus of water resource management challenges and public policy making. His current research focuses on economic evaluations of green infrastructure designed for stormwater management. Zach also works as a volunteer with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Earth Team where he has helped with analytical automation, GIS mapping and wetland monitoring as part of the NRCS Wetland Reserve Program (WRP). Prior to returning to Upstate New York for graduate school Zach worked as a management consultant for IMS Health for 6 years. Zach holds a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University where his concentration was Environmental and Resource Economics.
