Work with us
The S&S team is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students primarily based in the US and UK, as well as recent graduates working in the public, private, and third sectors. Together, we have an eclectic set of academic specialties, ranging from international relations and economics to public health and neuroscience, and we enjoy discussing everything from our NBA allegiances to international approaches to education. Our common thread is an interest in taking a holistic perspective to sustainable development.

Suggest a podcast guest to us
Ever listened to an S&S episode and thought, “I know the perfect podcast guest! How have these guys not interviewed this person yet?” Enlighten us with your suggestion! Send us an email with your information, as well as the guest’s, and tell us why you think he or she would be a good fit. Also let us know some questions you would ask if you were interviewing him or her. (Please note that podcasts are selected based on host and guest availability, alignment with our core content areas, and our content team’s overall vision.)

Pitch a blog post to us
S&S is always looking for unique written viewpoints to complement our podcasts. If you’ve thought up a potential blog post, share it with us! Whether you want to contribute one or more posts yourself or just hope that someone with relevant knowledge will address a question of yours, we’d love to hear your ideas. For more information about blogging for S&S, click here. (Please note that blog posts must align with our core content areas and our content team’s overall vision.)

Host an event/podcast party with us
Yes, S&S exists outside of the web sphere, and we love outreach events! If you’re interested in holding a sustainability-themed event or podcast listening party, get in touch with us to learn about more ways to collaborate. Harvard and Oxford affiliates are particularly encouraged to contact us; we’d be happy to put you in contact with your campus chapter coordinators.

From the Podcast

I can remember when I prepared to take the exam for Bronx Science, I took the train down from Harlem, which I hadn't left much, to Manhattan. You could tell the level of investment in Manhattan was so much greater. Even as a twelve year old, it shocked me.
